Skin Whitening

The skin whitening treatment contains the active ingredients of Kojic acid, Arbutin, Ascorbic acid, Bisabolol, Pinus pinaster bark extract, Glycyrrhiza glabra root extract, Centella Asiatica extract and Aloe Barbadense.

The Papaya fruit extract removes impurities and dead skin cells, lightly exfoliating excess pigmentation as well as inhibiting further melanin production. This treatment not only fades excess melanin through a gentle exfoliation action, it also inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosinase, which is an amino acid that is needed to produce melanin.

This process smooths out the tone of the skin to achieve a brighter and more vibrant skin appearance. This is suitable for sensitive areas of the skin such as knees, elbows and armpits, intimate area and is also suitable for all skin types.

  • Protocol

    • Area to be treated is cleansed and dried thoroughly
    • A few drops of Dipowhite are massaged into the skin and left on for 2 minutes.
    • A damp gauze is used to wipe gently over the area.
    • The above is repeated three times.
    • The area is then cleansed and dried.
    • Bepanthol is applied.

  • Ingredients

    • Kojic acid - inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosinase, which is an amino acid that’s needed to produce melanin.
    • Arbutin – inhibits tyrosinase and thus prevents the formation of melanin.
    • Ascorbic acid – fades pigmentation, brightens and hydrates the skin and evens out skin tone.
    • Bisabol- rejuvenates, moisturises and protects from free radicals
    • Papaya fruit extract- removes impurities and dead skin cells
    • Pinus pinaster bark extract – reduces hyperpigmentation and hydrate the skin.
    • Glycyrrhiza glabra root extract – an antioxidant which promotes skin radiance.
    • Centella Asiatica extract – an antioxidant which soothes and hydrates the skin.
    • Aloe Barbadense – moisturises and hydrates

Pre-Care
  • You must not have any active cold sores/ bruises/ cuts/wounds or skin abrasions contagious disease prior to treatment
  • Discontinue the use of Retinoids 7 days before treatments
  • Discontinue topical gels such as benzyl peroxide 7 days before treatment
  • Discontinue the use of AHA/BHA's 3 days before treatment (depending on area)
  • Laser / Electrolysis / Radio frequency treatments should be avoided 10 days before treatment Depilatory creams, waxing or threading should be avoided 72 hours before treatment.
  • No active sunbathing 10 days before treatment
  • SPF must be worn every day prior (depending on area treated)
After Care
  • Do not wet area for 24 hours after treatment
  • Avoid laser for 10 days after
  • Avoid alternative hair removal for 10 days after
  • Apply bepanthen cream to the area treated to keep it moistened
  • Avoid using any other moisturisers which can irritate the skin
  • Flaking can occur which is normal
  • No deodorant for 5 days if area treated is the underarms
